Construction of a new community mikvah. A mikvah is a ritual bath used by members of the Orthodox Jewish faith. Most mikvahs, including this one, are used by married women.
The proposed mikvah is on 3.15 acres of land. In addition to immersion pools, it will have showers and baths used in preparation for the ritual immersion.
The mikvah operates during evening hours, only. The use is allowed by special permit from the Planning Board.
