Town of Ramapo
The 22 acre Rockland Drive-In Theater site on Route 59 in Monsey has been vacant for decades. The Town Square Offices project divides the site into a 6.56 acre front lot and a 15.29 acre rear lot.
On the front lot, the developer has proposed a 5½ story, 108,000sf, office building. The site is designed to have walkable connections to the adjacent Town Square Shopping Center (Evergreen Supermarket/Amazing Savings), and to the adjacent Route 59 and Park-and-Ride transit hubs. These transit hubs are served by local and commuter buses. The site is also located within the central Monsey shopping area, and is within walking distance to stores, restaurants, and other services.
There are no current plans for the rear lot.
