Rockland Jewish Family Service will honor Sue and Ira Emanuel among their “Unsung Heroes” at a brunch to be held on December 6 at the Rockleigh Country Club. Sue and Ira are being recognized for their thirteen years of volunteer service to RJFS’s Rhoda Bloom Kosher Food Pantry.

Other honorees are NY State Senator David Carlucci, Mimi Burman of the RJFS Outreach Committee, the RJFS Holocaust Survivor Advisory Committee, and Jessica Vera of the RJFS staff.

RJFS is a nonsectarian agency providing community-based services to enable individuals to overcome a wide range of personal challenges and develop coping strategies that will lead to richer, more meaningful lives.
