The Watchtower World Headquarters Audio Visual Studio project has achieved a major milestone.

On November 9, the Ramapo Town Board approved a Findings Statement, which concluded the environmental review for the project. It also approved an amendment to the Town’s Comprehensive Plan, an amendment to the Zoning Code to allow the proposed mixed-use, and scheduled a public hearing for the required special permit.

Processing for this project began in June 2019. Watchtower prepared a full environmental impact statement. It also submitted multiple iterations of the proposed new zoning, to meet concerns expressed by the Town and by the Rockland County Planning Department.

The Town Board’s actions allow the project to move forward in Ramapo and in Tuxedo for special permit and site plan reviews.
